About OneLedger Inventory

OneLedger Inventory is stock and billing software for Indian shops, made by SAER Technologies Pvt Ltd, the team behind the OneLedger family of business apps.

Why we built it

Most shop owners we met were running stock in one of three ways: a notebook, an Excel sheet that only one person understood, or billing software that printed bills but never really knew what was on the shelf. The result was the same everywhere — fast items running out, slow items gathering dust, and a stock count once a year that nobody trusted.

OneLedger Inventory is built around a simple idea: every piece that comes in or goes out should move stock automatically, whether it is a sale at the counter, a purchase from a supplier, a transfer to another branch or a damaged piece written off.

Who it is for

• Single-counter shops that want fast barcode billing on a phone or PC and a clear low-stock list.
• Growing businesses with a store and a godown, or several outlets, that need stock per branch, transfers and staff permissions.
• Specialised trades — clothing with sizes and colours, pharmacies and grocers with batches and expiry, mobile and electronics shops with IMEI and serial numbers, garages with job cards.

There are 15 ready shop types. Each one sets up categories and item fields for that trade, and a mixed shop can combine them.

How it fits with OneLedger GST

Inventory is the stock master. When you need full GST invoicing, invoice print designs and GST returns, connect OneLedger GST in Settings. Every sale is then sent there as a GST invoice automatically, while stock stays in Inventory.
