This policy explains how OneLedger Inventory, operated by SAER Technologies Pvt Ltd ("we", "us"), collects and uses information when you use our inventory, stock and POS software and this website.

1. Information we collect

  • Account details: your name, mobile number, email and password (stored encrypted) when you register.
  • Business data: business name, GSTIN, addresses, branches, items, customers and suppliers, bills, payments, stock, batches, serial numbers and other records you enter.
  • Usage data: technical logs such as IP address, browser type and actions performed, used for security and troubleshooting.
  • Website enquiries: name, phone number and message you send through the contact form.

2. How we use it

  • To provide the service: billing, stock across branches, labels, reports and, if you connect it, sending bills to your OneLedger GST account.
  • To support you, send service and billing notices, and improve the product.
  • To keep accounts secure and prevent misuse.

Your business data belongs to your business. We store and process it only to run the service for you.

3. OneLedger GST link and sharing

If you connect OneLedger GST (our GST billing app), your bills, items, customers and payments are sent to your own OneLedger GST account to create GST invoices. Bills you share on WhatsApp are opened in your own WhatsApp; we do not send messages to your customers on our own. We do not use your customer contacts for our own marketing.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. We share data only with service providers needed to run the service (hosting, payment and email providers) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law or a lawful request from authorities.

5. Storage and security

Data is stored on secure servers with access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and regular backups. Each business's data is kept separate, and staff access within your business is controlled by roles and permissions you set.

6. Retention and your choices

We keep your data while your account is active and as long as needed to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. You can export your reports at any time and may request correction or deletion of your account data by contacting us.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for login sessions and security, and one first-party cookie that remembers for 30 days how you reached our website (for example from Google), so we can see which sources work. We do not use advertising cookies. Our website statistics do not store your IP address.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be notified in the app or on this page.
